Privacy Policy

Here’s the short version: the craps game runs entirely in your browser, so your play never leaves your device. We don’t collect accounts or personal details. We do use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, which involves standard web analytics data. That’s the whole picture, explained in plain English below.

Your gameplay stays on your device

The game is play-money craps that runs in your browser. Every bet, roll, and chip count happens on your own device. None of it is sent to us or stored on a server. We don’t know what you bet, how you played, or whether you won or lost the pretend chips, because that information never leaves your computer or phone.

If the game remembers your chip balance between visits, it does so using your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device. Clear your browser data and it’s gone. We never see it.

No accounts, no personal data collected by us

There’s no signup, no login, and no account on this site. We don’t ask for your name, email, phone number, or age, and we don’t have a database of users, because there are no users to store. You can play and read every page without giving us a single piece of personal information.

The only email address on the site is our contact address, info@crapsgame.io. If you choose to email us, we’ll have whatever you put in that message, and nothing more. We use it to reply and nothing else.

We use Google Analytics

We want to know how many people visit and which guides they find useful, so we use Google Analytics (GA4). This is a common web analytics tool, and it’s the one thing on the site that collects any data at all.

Google Analytics gathers standard, non-identifying information: rough visit counts, which pages get viewed, how long people stay, the general type of device and browser, and an approximate location based on IP address (like country or city, not your street). It uses cookies or similar browser storage to tell repeat visits apart. We look at this in aggregate to improve the site. We can’t use it to identify you personally, and we don’t try to.

Google processes this data under its own privacy terms. If you’d rather not be counted, you can use a browser or extension that blocks analytics, or Google’s own opt-out tools, and the game will work exactly the same.

We’re telling you this plainly rather than claiming “no tracking,” because analytics is tracking, and we’d rather be honest about the small amount we do than pretend otherwise.

No ads and no data selling

We don’t run advertising on the site, and we don’t sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. There are no ad networks, no marketing trackers beyond the analytics described above, and no third parties buying information about you, because we don’t have information to sell.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data, we’ll update this page. Since the site collects so little to begin with, big changes are unlikely, but this is where any update would appear.

Frequently asked questions

Does crapsgame.io collect my personal information?

No. There are no accounts, and we never ask for your name, email, phone, or age to play. The only personal data we’d ever have is what you voluntarily put in an email to us. We use Google Analytics for visit counts, but that’s aggregate, non-identifying data, not personal details.

Is my gameplay data sent anywhere?

No. The craps game runs entirely in your browser, so every bet and roll stays on your device. If the game saves your play-money chip balance, it uses your browser’s local storage, which never reaches us. We have no record of how you played.

What does crapsgame.io use Google Analytics for?

To count visits and see which pages are read most, so we can improve the site. Google Analytics collects standard, non-identifying data like page views, visit length, device type, and approximate location by country or city. We view it in aggregate and can’t use it to identify you personally.

Can I opt out of analytics on crapsgame.io?

Yes. You can use a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts, or Google’s own opt-out tools, and the site and game will work exactly the same. Nothing on the site requires analytics to function; it’s only there to help us understand overall traffic.

Does crapsgame.io sell my data or show ads?

No to both. We don’t run advertising, and we don’t sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. There are no ad networks or marketing trackers beyond the Google Analytics described here, and no personal database to sell, since we don’t collect one.
