crapsgame.io is a free craps game and reference site built for learning the game, not for gambling. It runs on play money, has no signup, and isn’t a casino. The goal is simple: give people an accurate, pressure-free place to understand craps, with rules and payouts that match a standard Vegas table.
What this site is
Two things, really. A free craps game you can play in your browser, and a set of plain-English guides explaining how the game works. The game uses pretend chips, so there’s nothing to deposit and nothing to win. The guides cover the rules, the bets, the odds, and the payouts, written the way an experienced player would explain them to a friend who’s never played.
Craps has a reputation for being intimidating. Loud table, fast pace, a felt covered in numbers that make no sense at a glance. Most of that fear comes from not having a safe place to learn. That’s the gap this site fills.
What this site is not
It’s not a casino, not a gambling platform, and not a route to any real-money site. You can’t wager cash here, you can’t cash out, and there’s no partner casino lurking behind a “play for real” button. If you’re looking to gamble, this isn’t the place. If you want to learn craps or just enjoy the game without risk, it is.
Who made it
I’m Tim. I build small, focused web tools and games, usually because I wanted the thing to exist and couldn’t find a clean version of it. You can find more of my work at timmyships.com.
I made crapsgame.io after getting tired of “free” craps games that turned out to be signup forms wearing a costume, or casino apps that hand you chips and then nag you to buy more. I wanted a version that was genuinely free, genuinely accurate, and actually pleasant to learn on. So I built one.
The accuracy commitment
A learning tool is worthless if it teaches the wrong thing. So the numbers here are checked, not guessed.
The payouts in the game match what a standard Las Vegas table pays, and they’re verified against published odds. A place bet on the 6 pays 7:6 here because that’s what it pays on a real table. Odds on a 4 or 10 pay true odds, matching the true probability. The Pass Line carries a house edge of 1.41%, and Any Seven carries 16.67%, because those are the real figures. When you learn a bet here, you’re learning it correctly, and the habits transfer straight to a real table.
I keep the written guides in step with the game for the same reason. If the game engine says a bet pays a certain amount, the guide says the same, because both draw from the same verified source.

Frequently asked questions
Is crapsgame.io a real casino?
No. It’s a free, play-money craps game and learning site. There’s no way to bet real cash, deposit, or cash out, and there’s no casino behind it. It exists to teach the game and let people practice without risk, not to facilitate gambling of any kind.
Who runs crapsgame.io?
The site was built by Tim, an independent developer who makes small web games and tools. More of his work is at timmyships.com. He built the site to offer a genuinely free, accurate craps game after finding that most “free” versions online were signup funnels or casino apps pushing deposits.
Are the payouts on this site accurate?
Yes. They match a standard Las Vegas table and are verified against published odds. A place 6 pays 7:6, odds on a 4 or 10 pay true odds, and the Pass Line edge is 1.41%. The written guides stay in step with the game engine so the two never disagree.
How do I contact crapsgame.io?
Email info@crapsgame.io. That’s the best way to report an error, ask a question, or suggest a feature. Corrections to the game’s accuracy are treated as a priority, since the whole point of the site is to teach craps correctly.
